WIN Clubber's Guide to 2012 Ministry of Sound

Get ready world… CLUBBERS GUIDE TO 2012 is almost here!

The ancient Mayan’s foretold of the worlds end in 2012, so Ministry of Sound have sought savior from impending annihilation, with an offering of their biggest compilations to date – CLUBBERS GUIDE TO 2012.

Setting the sounds for what could possibly be the last year of our existence, CLUBBERS GUIDE TO 2012 loads up 46 of the biggest and best club remixes mixed into two discs of electronic madness, to guide your journey through the dance floors and cataclysmic annihilation one could face in 2012. Melbourne’s dynamic duo Denzal Park take over the first disc, serving up some main room doom as they shred through the bigger sounds and apocalyptic anthems of the future. Avicii, Duck Sauce, Martin Solveig, Tonite Only, Afrojack, Adrian Lux, and Benny Benassi unite in a stadium sized celebration of house music. Reigning in the second disc is Brisbane’s one and only boy wonder Danny T, who takes us deep within the darkened den’s and dance floors of the world, serving an essential selection of straight-up club cuts destined to rock the earth to its core. Featuring the latest from A-Track & Zinc, Yolanda Be Cool, PNAU, Surkin, Tommy Trash, The Aston Shuffle and Bingo Players, Danny wraps up the compilation in a manner befitting any doomsday prodigy – with lashings of sequenced electronicool destined to keep you dancing until the very end!

So brace yourself, and prepare for dance floor destruction, with MINISTRY OF SOUND CLUBBERS GUIDE TO 2012 – In stores January 20!

Laidback Luke coming to ivy this Australia Day

1 Dec

Laidback luke tickets _ ivy

Laidback Luke, the Dutch Dynamo behind this year’s smash hit ‘Natural Disaster’ with Example and the now cult dancefloor track ‘Show Me Love’, gets the party underway early on the eve of Australia Day at ivy!

The past few years have been massive for Laidback Luke, with ‘Turbulence’ (with Steve Aoki) going global and an International Dance Music Award (IDMA) gong in the Best House/Garage Track category for his work on ‘Leave The World Behind’ with Deborah Cox, Axwell, Angresso and Angello. Not to mention having remixed some of the best work from his A-list peers – Calvin Harris, Avicci, Kanye West, Armand Van Helden, Wynter Gordon, Afrojack… and the list goes on!

Being one of the most in-demand producers and DJs means in any given week Laidback Luke moves from Brazil to Rome to Abu Dhabi, and we’ve demanded he still be carrying the vibe from playing Pacha New York by the time he jets in for this special Experience… event.

This is a rare opportunity to catch one of the world’s biggest festival headliners at one of Australia’s number one clubbing destinations, ivy. Don’t miss it!
